Welcome to the North-East Hants and Surrey Maths Hub (previously known as Surrey Plus Maths Hub)

North-East Hants and Surrey Maths Hub is led by St John the Baptist School, Woking and runs a large programme of  Work Groups and events throughout the year with the aim of improving Maths teaching, leadership and professional learning practice to transform Maths education.

The Maths Hubs Network is the collaborative partnership of the 40 Maths Hubs across England, supported and facilitated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). It is part of the wider development of school-led, system leadership of education in England.  Watch a short film about the work of the Maths Hubs here

Primary and Secondary Networks

We are delighted that out of trying circumstances a really positive and collaborative network of teachers has been established across North East Hampshire and Surrey. We really want carry on this great start and get the network to grow and be a continued support through testing times to come and beyond. As a result, we have established a 2 pronged approach to allow teachers to network and discuss issues related to Maths.

Online Network Meetings – We hold these once a half term from September as an online twilight.  Registration links will be sent out a few week prior to each meeting.

Basecamp Community – Basecamp is a platform (it can be accessed through both an app or the website) which allows people to discuss topics, share files and interact in a really easy way. We have set up groups of our own so that you can all continue to ask questions, support each other and get support from the Hub in between Network meetings.

Would you like access to this Maths Hub Basecamp Online Community? If yes, you will receive an invitation to join in due course. Please complete the relevant sign-up here:
